It has been a tradition to many of us that the celebration for this important event must be a joyous one. There are lots of ways on how to make the celebration happy. Among the popular ones is to make use or to mix the celebration with music. But the music being used is not just an ordinary music; it is of a very special kind. Elderly Care:Old Age and Music

Friday, August 7th, 2009

Life is one great song. In order to produce a great melody, there must be a harmonious orchestration of the voice, pitch and tone.

When one is at the peak of youth, life is such a beautiful rendition, but upon reaching old age, the song sounds like a twice told-tale. Accordingly, it is hard for the soul to sing as it gets older. The angst of mid-life seems, in retrospect, a breeze. Shoved or eased into age, we ruefully learn that fifty was nifty and that those who died at sixty died too young. And we learn that even though we have a song or two to be sung before all the lights go out, the coming of age has brought us to final scenes of the play—and death waits in the wings.

Somebody whom I talked to in an establishment providing nursing home services said that though age can burden us with profound and plentiful losses—of health, of people we love, of a home that has been our have of pride and pride, of a place within a familiar community, of work and status and purposefulness and financial security, of control and choices, the painful impact of these things can more or less be cushioned by love and care of the people around them.

Old people need elderly care in this crucial stage of their life. Let them feel your sincere love; find a nursing home for your old loved ones and lead them to creative freedoms, further development, joy and the ability to embrace life.
